The Historic Cooksville Trust is here to help with preserving and celebrating the history of our village.
Funding Preservation Projects
We have limited funds available to assist you in preserving historic properties in and near Cooksville. The grant program is designed to assist the community with preservation, conservation, rehabilitation, and restoration of its historical and natural heritage. Grants may be available for preserving historic buildings, structures, sites, open areas, and public spaces, as well as educational and research programs.
To see what types of projects have been supported in the past, visit our Supported Projects page. We do consider proposals outside the scope of our previously supported ventures.
Preserving the Archive
The trust maintains an archive of artifacts and documents related to Cooksville’s history. You can help us by offering donations of records, items, or funds to the archive. While we may not be able to accept all items due to space and funds, what we do take will become part of our shared village history as part of the archive.
